These services are called “Affordable premium resume service” and I found them using someone’s advice in the web. Its design is not very modern as the pages are not displayed correctly. I was skeptical about it at first, but then became excited by 3 days delivery and the writer’s experience and decided to order my resume here. I wasn’t searching for a new job then, but I decided to update a resume in advance to avoid doing it in a rush.

Price policy

The prices are available on the front page: $140 and above for resume and $53 per cover letter. Yes, it was really affordable. However, I didn’t like it that I couldn’t know the final quote prior to ordering and sending my old resume. To proceed, I followed the directions on the site: paid, picked a design and emailed the writer my old resume. By the way, this company is own by a single writer, i.e. there isn’t a team of resume writers.

Details of order

I worked as a Civil Engineer for over 6 years and had a quite long track record. The next day the writer asked me a number of additional questions to get a better insight into my skills and abilities. After those questions were answered, we didn’t get in touch until she sent me a completed version of my resume.

Quality of support and writing

There’s an email and toll-free phone number on the site to get in touch. I only used a phone to clarify the final price of my resume; I had to call twice to reach the writer. Obviously, as the site is owned by one person, there’s no support team. My initial resume was quite long and I expected the writer to shorten it and make more reader-friendly; however, the final document still was over 2 pages. I had no complaints about cover letter, though.

Conclusion

My experience had both positive and negative aspects. Speaking about the good points, delivery is quite fast and the prices are affordable. Nevertheless, it’s hard to reach them and I had to ask for revision to get my resume shortened. If you are searching for a truly great service, I’d recommend you to check other reviews first as I cannot rate this company very high. I have read a lot of customer’s feedbacks and I can tell you that CV Resume Writers Company is much more reliable company!
